Trump insists on bullying an economy 18 times smaller, which is your neighbor, whose illegal immigration into the US has drastically been reduced the past 15 years to almost net zero, which poses no ideological or military threat... And that has been strongly 'suggested' in the past to align its production and consumption patterns to those that benefit the US economy the most. E.g: Stop producing cereals and produce legumes and tropical fruits since the 70's, disinvest the national oil company so that it sells crude oil and buys refined products, reconvert electricity generation to natural gas which has to be bought from the US, etc... So, Mexican elites have complied, and now they get a big kick in the butt and we along with them. As economies, we really do complement ourselves, guess Trump doesn't see it that way, and wants to stir the pot to create problems where they don't currently exist.

Trump is a quintessential bully. He fits the bill. He blusters and berates others, but deep down, he's a weak, insecure, pathetic individual. Unfortunately, many Trump supporters misconstrue his bluster for "strength" when in truth he's a very weak person.

I don't know if the CNN story is true or not, if it's well researched or not. But if it's false and not well researched, I wouldn't call that an example of what the mainstream media does, but an outlier. It would totally look like a typical FOX/Breitbart story, though.

The CNN story is well researched and honestly written according to what is fact, allegation, what can be proven and what can´t. Of course according to the Trumpkista´s media should only be allowed to run stories about Trump if they have a Video, Republican-Eyewitnesses and DNA and whatever else would sail through a Jury trial and then still defend his actions.

Heck, i have even heard the "not everything about Trump is bad" line, so familiar to every German that still remembers old people saying stuff like "Not everything about Hitler was bad, he invented the Autobahn" (which by the way he did not).

Your empty ad hominem attack on Krugman was quite predictable; but you should win a prize for this:

It is probably the most Naziesque thing I've heard yet out of the Trump camp.

Pot, meet kettle. And you need a refresher on what an ad hominem is and isn't.

When the propaganda machine known as the mainstream media is scrambling, it usually means the truth is out. Great news for America, unless you hate the truth, that is.

It's amazing what he's achieved. He's actually got his minions to simply and categorically refute every critical bit of news that comes from the media by dismissing them as 'crooked', 'liars', 'biased', etc.
So basically, everything CNN or any other news outlet say that is critical of him will be immediately disregarded without further question because he said so and, as we all know, if you repeat something loudly and often enough it becomes true...

You have it completely backwards. The reason Trump is going to be President is because Trump spoke to what we believed already. The evidence has been clear for years that objective journalism is dead. The mainstream media has zero credibility. They lie, mislead, and tell you what you should believe in order to advance their political agenda. Truth is an obstacle to them, not the goal. We finally have a President that isn't leading the same agenda. President Trump is the end product of half the country's beliefs, not the other way around.

I may not be as concerned about the "real" number. If unemployment rises to 6% because the job market is recovering, wages are rising, more people are working as many hours as they want, and many more people are in the labor force looking for work, the "real" and "fake" number gap will decline, and that 6% unemployment is actually better news for this country.

I don´t think ~40 percent of the US electorate are suffering from a paranoid delusions. I think giving those people an acceptable excuse to act out their racism and anti-social behavior is a much bigger driving factor.
