I recently flew on 2 refurbished Airbus, an A320 outbound and an A319 on my return. Very comfortable rides, but I did notice the overhead bins look "flimsy" compared to the 739ER bins. A few times I thought a couple might jolt open during turbulence and touchdown.

Hey everyone. A friend of mine is on a Skywest E175 right now, and he reported having power outlets back in row Economy. I had thought that they were only being installed in F and Comfort+. Can anyone confirm if this is an odd one off or if power is really going nose to tail on all E175s?

Yep! Power on the SkyWest E175 is "nose to tail". Any SkyWest E175 in the DL operation will have this feature.

the only thing to note is that on the C+ and MC seats, the power outlet is underneath the seat so you have to do a bit of feeling around to find it. The factory isnt willing to install them any other way. Installation on the FC seats is a bit easier to find. Luckily there are placards at each seat row to remind people that the feature is there.

      Just one frame in mods for P1+P2. No indication that any 320 that got P1 has gotten P2 yet, although we've seen several birds sit at ATL or MSP for a few days.

      N303DQ should be exiting soon, will mark the halfway point as there are currently 5 left to get mods.

      DL9933 ATL-SAL tomorrow is being operated by N3745B, which got mods recently. Probably just MX. Was hoping it'd be an ex-GOL bird.

      Nothing yet but expect 672/658 to exit soon as we had 675/678 enter recently. Hopefully 658 got mods as well.

      3707 RTS out of IND in a few hours. Should have 2Ku.
      3708 taking its place in IND and should get 2Ku + Mx.
      3873 entered revenue service this weekend.

      3135 back in service with the new cabin/2Ku.
      3126 looks to have taken its place.
      3x 319s remain in service with the old cabin.
      3163 set to reenter service with 2Ku.
      3124 is in DTW, likely the next getting 2Ku.

      Noticed that DL is using the code 738 in OAG again, but added several flights with the config of. F16Y138. Could these be the ex-GOL 738s, the 73A?

      Additionally, the A320 P2 mod is now in the schedule for some A320 flights

      This may have been covered and I just missed it. If DL is not doing a full mod prior to service, I assume these birds won't have AVOD or power and may potentially have WiFi, as that was the setup in their previous life? Similar to the 75G's then.

      320 3255 scheduled out of SAL-DTW as DL 9937 later today. Should have P1+P2 cabin. Not sure about 2Ku.
      752 672 on a test hop now. Should RTS soon. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N672DL

      In the next few days, expect a couple of 738s to swap out for H+ mods, a couple of 319 swaps, and 752s 673 and 660 (may exit later like its sister aircraft) to exit. Still no idea on the timing of 752 658.

      Not all, for instance 3215 is leaving the fleet in a couple days, and along with a few more in a couple months. There should be another batch of 10 or so get scheduled for retirement in the coming weeks/months.

      Has it been confirmed that ALL A320 P1 aircraft are being modded to P2?


      Not all, for instance 3215 is leaving the fleet in a couple days, and along with a few more in a couple months. There should be another batch of 10 or so get scheduled for retirement in the coming weeks/months.

      AFAIK, as I haven't read anything to the contrary, all the 50 aircraft that have received Phase 1 will also receive Phase 2. There are an additional 8 aircraft that haven't started mods yet and another 7 which won't receive any mods as they will be retired this year, which includes ship #3215 which is due to be retired this month. All this info is confirmed in the "Narrowbody Status" list that "n515cr" updates here bi-monthly, with the latest list in reply #215 above.

      Looks like it goes back into revenue service tomorrow. Doing an ATL-LAS-ATL rotation.

      Also keep in mind that the first 3 leaving are due for checks, the rest are for capacity planning. They just might make a return like a few of the 757s have done.

      3170 showing an RTS tomorrow with new cabin and 2Ku.
      3136 should be taking its place for mods.
      3115 and 3116 are the only two remaining 319s with the old config.
      3145 in DTW since 3/24 - may be getting 2Ku

      The 7 320s planned to retire already (3210, 3211, 3213, 3215, 3216, 3218) all have not received cabin mods and won't get them.

      If all aircraft younger than 3227 go that would be 11 aircraft (3209, 3212, 3217, 3219-3226).

      Can't edit that post anymore but 3214 should be included in the list of aircraft already planned to retire.

      3115 off to SAL tomorrow as 9931, will leave 3116 as the only 319 left to get mods.

      757s
      Nothing yet for 658.

      737s
      3606 entered mods at ATL 6 days ago. That leaves 3 left to get mods: 3608-3610
      Nothing yet for 3753/3746, or 3875 entering service.

      I guess that the 4 757s scheduled to leave the fleet will be around until all of the 757 mods have been. I would assume at the rate that they are being done that should be sometime by the end of June.

      Actually I believe they are staying until they are due for heavy maintenance which should be sometime this year.

      Probably in reference to new deliveries entering service. As of the last master list N874DN was still showing an estimated entry date of 3/20 and there hasn't been an update since.
