Flash Photography On AA Flights?

Are passengers allowed to take flash pictures on American Airline flights while in the air?

Erm... why not?
I'm curious to see what kind of answers will come out of this one. I don't see any reason as to why using a camera with a flash would not be allowed. The times I've taken pictures of couples on board...!?

I wouldn't, you might have an airplane full of mad passengers glaring at you if they're trying to sleep!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

I Do Flash Photography ALL THE TIME when I fly. YEAH.
