"It will not be a no-frills airline"
"flying to seven regional ports by July next year"
"carrier would have economy and business class seating "
"The new airline will have a different name and a distinct livery which have yet to be announced, and will not duplicate routes served by Qantas' premium service."
Just a few interesting quotes. July next year - QF will have at least on A330 by then won't it, is QF getting anymore 767s from BA ? Sounds like we are going to see QFs 762s soldier on (under new name).
The business class part is a bit weird though, QFs 767s only have J and Y class at the moment, Maybe QF wants a F class on their new planes.
I think that we will just see 767s painted in a new c/s flying different routes with a revamped interior, keeping the same pitch and maybe reducing the picth in business, they dont have dreamtime seats in J on the 762s do they ? QFs Y class is due for an update with more legroom - they cant goon for much longer with 31" for much longer. the QFlite would probably keep 31" in Y.
Well all this is what i think could happen
Sorry if all you see is drivel
