Define commercial?
There are DC3s still flying today, most of them in flying museums (where they do bring income), some in line service or as freighters (mostly south America).
Are those Swiss Ju52-3Ms still in the air? They are older.
I wish I were flying

I nominate the 1929 Travel Air operated by Kachemak Bay Flying Service

They got rid of their other airplane, a DHC-Otter a couple of years back.

DC3 In Colombia

Mon Aug 20, 2001 9:59 pm

Well in some parts of Colombia they still use old DC3 for commercial transportation!!
@ Villavicencio (VVC) the DC3 are the most common airplanes as well as other inland villages and cities that are far away from the big cities like Bogotá, Cali and Medellin and difficult to reach by road. Here are some pics;

DC-3s are still regulars on the ramp in PBI.

Imagine the figure if you were to add up the numbers of pounds of frieght and people this design has carried since its' first flight...

millions yes..... billions? a trillion?

I am not sure if it is the oldest flying, but it has to be one of the oldest. This Trimotor currently flys out of LGB.

The oldest commercial plane still flying is a Douglas DC-3 for Servivensa in a few Venezuela domestic routes. Servivensa is a subsidiary of Avensa. Both airlines are worst.
