Tail Height On 738's & 739's

Wed Aug 22, 2001 7:49 am

this is weird,
check out these 2 links,

for the tail height on both the 738 and 739,
boeing lists 2 different tail heights : 41ft 2in and 41ft 3in

why the difference ?

also shows the 739 drawing with winglets....didn't realize it was an option
on the -900 ????

The tail height, at a guess, would be from ground to tip. If you look at the 737NG on the ground it has quite a nose low stance, therefore if you make the aircraft longer the tail would be higher!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

according to the websites,
the 738 has 2 different tail heights and
the 739 has 2 different tail heights

i think the original post was misleading

anyone have a guess as to why this would be ?

hmmmmm  Wow!

depends on how much fuel was on the aircraft when they took the tape measure to the ones the measured.
OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.
