AC183, would you not say that YOW-YHM, YOW-YQT and YHM-YQT constitute already being in the Ontario regional market?
CYKA, I would hardly call YSB overserved. In fact they have been underserved for the past decade. Same goes for YYB, YAM, YTS, YQG, YXU, YHM and YGK in Ontario alone.
As for the increased capactiy, I suspect that YOW-YYC YQR-YOW and YXE-YOW will become nonstop in both directions and that YQT-YOW will be nonstop daily in both directions. Others possible routes would be YOW-YHM, YHM-YEG and YOW-YQM. Maybe even a new YOW-YWG route and likely a YSB-YWG-YYC route.
As for Montreal, from what I have read getting landing slots and decent gates at YUL is a problem for them and YHU does not have adequate facilities yet. But for the Montrealers on the board don't worry, WJ will be there eventually. WJ has so many opportunities, that they can only select so many at one time, without running the risk of expanding too fast. However, I bet that they will be in YQG, before they come to Montreal. Avoiding Montreal has nothing to do with bilingualism. Ottawa-Hull is very bilingual and they have flown here for over a year now.
