LHR Slots For Competition

Fri Sep 07, 2001 3:10 am

AA and BA have asked for immunity and now UA and BD have followed. So far CO, DL, and NW have all stated they are opposed to theese particular partenerships due to lack of economicly viable slots to compete on the routes. In addition, 80% of transatlantic routes from LHR would be UA/BD or BA/AA.

Are there any other carriers opposed to theese alliances? Does anyone epect theese alliances to gain immunity?
