C3's first A340 has been mentioned quite often on here recently. I thought you would be interested to know you can see a photo at the url below. The photo was taken today!

Interesting Smile/happy/getting dizzy Those CFM's look kinda weird with the stripes though. Are the A340's going to be on a long-term lease with C3?

One question:

Why did C3 go for the A340 when they could've had the 763 or 764 or even the 777???

Any reasons??

For starters: They already fly the A330 ....
Their fleet is already diverse enough. No need to mess it up even more.

Wow, it really is ugly! The A340 is quite a nice looking airplane overall, especially from a distance. The C3 colour scheme looks terrible on it though.

I like the look, even though I am not a fan of the colour scheme it looks pretty good on the superplastic, although I think they should have gone witht he solid red engines, the stripes don't quite look right..maybe it's just the angle of the picture.
