Appalled

Wed Sep 12, 2001 6:59 am

I awoke this morning in Australia to hear the tones of our Prime Minister on a direct feed from Washington.

It was only as the broadcast continued that the full magnitude of these terrible cowardly acts became clearer.

How anyone who describes themselves as a human being could contemplate such a despicable act is beyond my comprehension.

I think I speak on behalf of each and every reasonable human being when I say that no stone should remain unturned in finding and bringing to justice the perpetrators of these acts.

Whoever they are they seem to understand little of the value of human life.

Arafat condemns these acts. Now is the time for him to stand up and be counted and assist the USA in bringing the masterminds to justice.

His personal profile and that of his fledgling country will reap the benfits of such assistance.
