Wed Sep 12, 2001 8:19 am

Just wondering if people could share what airlines/types diverted into your local airports after today's tragedy.

Here in Omaha, we got 15 or so (from what I could count). UAL 777's, 767's, 757's, DAL 757, AWA A319/A320, COA 737's, and other misc. a/c. It is a mess, as I am sure it is at every major airport in the country.
To most people, the sky is the limit. To those who love aviation, the sky is home

Lambert - St Louis had the following come in today (although there may have been more):

TWA: DC-9, 717, 757, 767, M80
Southwest: 737s
American: MD80, 757
United: 737, 727, A320
Delta Air Lines: MD-11, 757 (might have been two), and MD88
National Airlines: 757
UPS: 747-100, DC-8-70 (2)
Fed Ex: DC-10 (3)
USAirways: A321 (2) (they could have been 757s but the doors looked wrong), and maybe a Fokker 100
Northwest: DC-9 (2)
Continental: 757, ERJ
America West: 757 (the Arizona Cardinals plane)

The Missouri Air National Guard was also flying F-15s as well.

To TIJ

Wed Sep 12, 2001 9:53 am

I heard in the news that a flight from Hong Kong bound for LAX, landed in Tijuana. Maybe CX, SQ?
And there must have been other planes that landed there cause TIJ is just so near to the US border.
