Good question - that's why I like looking at the cabin photos at a.net so much.

Some that come to my mind:
LH - too much grey but the yellow accents are OK
BA - elegant and stylish
VS - outrageous!
AF, KL - nothing special
AZ - the green seats are a bit odd these days
SK - nice cabin accents of beige and red to the blue seats
EK - nice sandy desert colors
AC - nice combination of dark green, grey and maple leafs
new Southwest - just great!

Most First and Business cabins are more styled, so I'm talking about Economy here.

What I don't like so much is the standard blue seats and white walls/overheads.

I think is really great, faded seat covers, bald carpets, masking tape holding bits and pieces throughout the interior, hahahah!.ON the serious side I prefer Emirates Cabins, theyre so soothing Smile

I loved the interior decoration of El-Al's 747-200s, with a lot of warm colors (in fashion at the time): orange, pink, red, grey, yellow, violet...

Best/Interesting:
Alitalia 747-200: separate cabins with matching seats/curtains in blue, red, yellow (Italians like to chock!)

Air India 747-200: deep red, purple, or light blue walls. Not necessarily tasteful, but psychodelic and interesting.

Royal Brunei: the burgandy carpet/seats works well.

Worst:
Current- Canadian Airlines (old and decrepid)

Past- Air New Zealand 747-200's and 767-200's in the 1980's (yellow and orange seats!).
Honourable mention to Pan Am's maintenance department.

Can we see some photos of those purple walls at Air India? So far I've seen Wardair and Air Mauritius here, quite odd too.

A good interiors are:

Lufthansa
Lan Chile
Lan Peru
American
United
Emirates

Worst I think that is Iberia Economy Class because the Gran Clase is great.
