Aircraft Registration History

Fri Sep 21, 2001 4:11 am

Does anyone know how I can find out which aircraft I have flown on in the past... as in registration numbers?! I'd love to find out which AA DC-10 I flew on in '95 and other aircraft like that.

So if anyone can tell me how I can research this info, I'd greatly appreciate it!

THANKS!

Try Bill Harm's site, although I'm not sure you'll be able to find out unless you have the exact reg number of the aircraft you flew. Even that may be pushing it...

Good luck,

Well, I have found that Google is a great tool infinding aircraft reg numbers. If you know a regestration number - past or present, just type it into Google and you will be served up a number of sources where that reg. # occurs on the web.

Thanks everyone, but I am looking for the registration numbers... what I do know are the flight times, dates, planes, destinations.. and on one, I even know the pilots name! Just not the tail number.

So if you know how to find registration numbers, I'm all ears!

Hmm.....
You might be in for a hunt through an airline's vault of paper records! I would say that this information is available but damn! This is the kind of thing that an aiport would have records of, airline, # of landings and departures, tail numbers etc. I am not sure if this would be something they would cheerfully dig out for you though.

I have access to a database that lists registration numbers for all domestic flight segments operated in part 121 operations by a US major (no commuters though) since 1997. Please post your flight numbers, routes and dates here and I will look it up for you when I get a chance.
