Oooops... OMG, you're right L-188... those are really Pipers... shame on me!
I'm not so familiar with the difference between a Piper and a Cessna. Well the problem is that we don't see those cute BA Pipers here in STR very often, I haven't even seen them on one of my many trips to UK. In fact I have to confess that I don't even know where Popham (the location of all 3 photoes) is situated.
Aeroflot with A318-319-320-321
CSA with the A319-320
Sibir with IL-96-400
Northwest with TU-334 to replace their DC-9
Sabena with A380
AA with B744
Pulkovo with A319-320
SAS with B773/772
... and so on...
KLM should get 777s,
CSA should get 767-300s (to build a larger international route system, and supliment the A310s) and Fokker 100's for shorter European routes, because I'd much rather see/hear a Fokker flying over in English class than a 737...the engines have a great sound!
All applicable airlines should put together a consortium to build and then fly more Tristars.
Although I think there is more chance of easyJet moving into the longhaul market with a 500Y configuration 744 than there is of building more Tristars.
