I think that some asian airlines will need the A-380 for some mid-range interasiatic routes. Don't forget that they are already using 744's (the D version) and 777's
in domestic routes.

Of course it is. The 747 is already too small on some inter-Hub lines, so imagine in 10 years from now. Don't guess the sucess of the A380 with 2001 eyes but think further. It has a bright future in the cargo industry anyway.
