Citizen's Air Marshal

Mon Sep 24, 2001 5:02 pm

Lew Rockwell is I guess what you'd call a liberitarian web site. I don't agree with everything there, but the news articles are interesting to read. I came across this article, which I thought this crowd might enjoy.

Interesting. Similar thoughts about gun control now apply to knives, etc. These sharp-object banning laws at airports don't apply to a determined hijacker who will find other means to get weapons on board and threaten the crew and passengers.

What can ordinary citizens do, besides become Federal Air Marshals? The article suggests citizens who have applied for, own, and carry concealed weapons to request special authorization to carry their weapon onboard domestic or international flights.

Believe it!
