I wanted to know if the american airlines like United, AA, Eastwind... engage foreign pilots

This is the text of American's citizenship policy for pilots:

CITIZENSHIP: U.S. citizen or the Legal right to work
in the United States; Applicant must be able to read,
write, fluently speak and understand the English
language. Valid passport required. Must have legal
right to travel without restrictions to/from all countries
served by American.
