Aeroflot Flight Numbers

Tue Jul 06, 1999 6:31 am

I will fly to Kamtchatka with Aeroflot flights SU256 FRA-Moscow, SU763 Moscow-Petropavlovsk (08/20/99) and back SU760 Petropavlovsk-Moscow (03/09/99), SU255 Moscow-FRA (05/09/99), but I dont know which aircrafts are used. Can anyone give me this information, or tell me where to look after. The Lufthansa InfoFlyway seems to show only LH and partner flights nowadays and the Aeroflot page has no schedule working.
Thanks, Lennart

I would say with a fair degree of certainty that you will leave and return to/from Frankfurt in an A310, and the onwards sectors to/from Petropavlovsk will be Russian metal, almost certainly an Il62, or, if you're lucky, an Il86. It would be nice to check out the '96 but I suspect they are kept for the international routes such as trans-Atlantic and places like Bangkok and Delhi. So, A310s and Il62s or 86s. Lucky geezer.

I know for sure that you are going to Moscow on A310 and back to FRA. From Moscow-Petropavlovsk, you will be flying on the Il-62 (I think).
If you need more info just go to the aeroflot website:
The schedule should work cause i was just there.

BTW, why are you going to Petropavlovsk?

I have checked the 1999 time table and the planeused from Moscow - Petropavlovsk is an IL96-300, not an IL-62 but an IL-96-300.

I am happy to fly at all, so if IL-62 or IL-96..., Id like both. I saw an IL-62 of Trans Asia Airways starting in Hannover, Germany and it was a great view, a beautiful plane.
Thank you all for the help.
