Anyone Ever Been To An Airport In ND?

Mon Oct 01, 2001 4:43 am

Anyone ever been to an airport in North Dakota? Or does anyone else here live in ND? (I live in Williston, local airport is ISN). What did you think of this state, or the airport? The people?

Just wondering because some people don't even know where ND is! (Well its over here )

I have been in FAR several times. Is actually pretty cool, I like it. It has a very good size for its actual needs but it should have at least another airline serving it and more scheduled destinations.

I have flown in and out of Fargo (FAR) on a couple of occasions. Northwest Airlines uses Fargo for pilot training and can often be seen doing touch and go landings there. It's not unusual to see a 747-400 flying in and out doing touch and go's.

There is really very little demand for a large number of flights at that airport, but I think that is is pretty well served for the needs of that community.

cool... I have never flown into FAR because I'm on the opposite side of the state.. I wish there were direct flights there so I could check it out (airlines only go to Bismarck, Dickinson, Denver, Sidney, and Billings from here)
