DCA To PHL, STL And Mem?

Wed Oct 03, 2001 1:07 am

President Bush said flights will resume Thursday from DCA to LGA and BOS. He also said service would soon resume to DFW, ORD, ATL, MSP, EWR, and PIT, but gave no word about flights to PHL, STL and MEM. Did he forget those hubs, or is there a reason for the omission?

Anyone know?

From what I have heard the flights will be added step by step., very gradually. This, apparently, is due to any fine tuning of security that may be needed as the number of flights and passengers increases. It is my understanding that by the end of the month, flights and destinations etc. will be back to about where they wre at the time of the attack. When you stop and think about it, this incfremental increase does make a lot of sense.

You can rest assured that if you are one of only two people on board an arriving US Airways Express flight at DCA...and you are not a federal agent...than the other guy must be.

It will take a while to ramp up the sky marshall program for DCA...

A great new job opportunity...DCA Sky Marshall...all you do is fly into and out DCA...4 days on, 3 days off...etc.
