I just wish that ANY airline would start service here, at my new home airport of HII. Mesa Air currently has four flights a day, to & from PHX. That's it...no other flights or carriers. The town is really itching for more services. The business is there...folks here want LAS, LAX, SAN and a few others. Any takers? Regards.

Personally I would like to see the following to continue service or give competition to other carriers:
SEA-HNL, OGG or LIH (since they fly 767's to SEA continue onto the Hawaiin islands)
SEA-NRT or KIX (777 service)
SEA-CDG (No carrier serves this market)
SEA-LGW (Compete with BA)
SEA-FRA (LH flies from YVR)
United, NWA and AMR need competition on some routes out of SEA. I would like to have Alaska Airlines survive and beat the competition especially UAL since UAL has terrible service, but that is another story.
With Midway no longer flying, I would like to see America West pick up flights between Columbus and Raliegh-Durham. I would also like to see them start flights from Columbus to Kansas City, San Francisco, New Orleans, and Jacksonville. However considering the fact that America West most likely isn't looking at any route expansion, especially from CMH, at the moment, I wouldn't anticipate any of the above happening anytime soon.
SLE (Salem, OR) to:
SEA (QX or United Ex)
SFO (QX or United Ex)
LAX (UA, AS, QX)
or PDX to:
NRT (JL, UA, NW, CO, KL)
LHR (UA, BA)
MEX (AM, MX)
BOS (AS, AA, UA)
and someone to compete with Hawaiian. They had been averaging around 280 pax on the single DC10 to HNL
A US Airways nonstop to NRT would be a nice way to inaugerate the new intl terminal at PHL. Of course, they would first need to find a plane to fly that far (if, f course, they're still in business in the spring)....
