Every time I hear about PIA, I recall in the early '80's when CP Air (predecessor of Canadian AL) swapped their 4 742's to PIA for the 4 PIA DC-10-30's. Several CP employees at the time told me that the PIA DC-10-30's were in absolutely terrible shape...poorly maintained with rotten interiors. One of the -10's was in mx for months getting it up to 'Canadian' standard.

Won't catch me flying PIA ever.

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

Airmale

Are you speculating whether PIA are going to stop BHX, or are you questioning a rumour/statement you've heard to that effect ??

I hope PIA continue operating into BHX, as BHX has suffered significantly with their transatlantic schedules since Sept. 11th.
