All PIA Flights Suspended?

Mon Oct 08, 2001 4:57 am

According to a member here PIA have suspended all of their flights in and out of Pakistan due to the out break of hostilities in the region, can anyone confirm this? if true, how long will the suspension last? a couple of days back Quetta airport recieved an anonymous call saying that a PIA flight coming from Lahore would be hit by a missile, the flight was diverted and landed after 45 minutes in Quetta, the govt has since decided to remove all the Afghan refugees that live near Quetta airport which is an Air Force base Sad

Yes that is what www.dawn.com says that only Baluchistan airports have been closed....but luckily very few PIA flights operate from there anyways.
