Aircraft Registration #'s Booklet?

Tue Oct 09, 2001 10:59 am

I was wondering if there was a booklet with all of the Reg. #'s and the actual aircraft it is. It would be very useful while spotting to see that it is a 762ER or another 767 of some sort. I really can't tell the difference while spotting at YYZ. Air Canada has too many 767's, I think I have the difference between the 762 and 763 but this ER stuff really throws me.

Is there a booklet or could we make one? I guess it would have to be updated every once and a while, like evey 6 months. There is a lot you can do with the book, like seating layout. I know that Canada 3000 has a few differnt seating layouts in their A310's, just stuff like that.

I think the sky is the limit.

Let me know if this is a good idea or not,

Thank,

Grant

P.S. I know that Air Canada gives all of its registration #'s out on their web site, but tonight I was spoting and I say a United 737 but I was not sure if it was a -700 or -300, I think it was a NG but again not sure, the book would have helped.

I point you to the yearly publication JP Airline Fleets and it's monthly update World Airline Fleet News. In addition Airways magazine has a bi-weekly online update available
