Favorite Cabin Cielings/ohl's

Sun Oct 14, 2001 2:53 pm

I would like to know what is the best cabin cieling, why does it appeal to you and if you can include an image.
Even better share your ideas that would make a good cieling arrangement if you have no existing favorite.

Mine personally is the old L1011 cieling lots of preety lights and curves makes the aircraft light and spacious. I wish a/c manufacturers would follow this example.

The Raytheon Beechcraft 1900D.

No overhead bins, wide stand-up height. Makes the small airplane seem big and spacious.

The tristar is great! Here are a few of my favorites:

The Airbus 320/319s look great and advanced.

I also like the 757/767 and 737-300/500s.

Just to throw in the worst ones, the MD-80s, I feel like I'm on a bus and not a plane looking at those celings.

And, what about the 737NGs? They totally look like something dating back to what was on the first 737s and 727s of the 60s. I would of thought for such an advanced new plane they would have gotten advanced ceilings.
