Today, I took my Mom to Cleveland, OH (CLE) for a return flight to Providence, RI (PVD). She had an e-ticket with Continental so she checked in on the e-ticket stands.
From my observation, it's cool to check in on a computer, but NOT cool to have to wait for an agent to get to your stand to give you your bag tag for the piece you are checking in. In fact, I thought we waited longer than we should have, considering how much easier e-ticketing is supposed to be. Two passengers who got to their stands AFTER us got their bag tags BEFORE us. Not cool. The agents had no systematic way of going from one stand to another, no order whatsoever. This is something that needs to be looked into.
