8 oz bottles of water with airline logo on them
barf bags in airline logo on them
eye "masks" (dont know specific wording) for sleeping
blankets
pillows
airplane seat belt (broke inflight)

The flight attendants were mean, so 4 safety cards from 3 planes and 2 spoons.

I've mentioned Frau Hitler in several other instances, throwing carryons and harassing us. They should keep her on the flights to Mojave!

Actually, on most airlines, the inflight magazines and the timetables are complimentary. Those are all I have taken.

Ironchain15 is correct. Inflight magazines and timetables are complimentary from airlines, I take them all the time.

I know the timetables and magazines are complimentary, hence the apostrophe around stolen.

I flew on Ansett 4 days before they stopped flying and one thing I got from them was the headset used in the plane. The reason I took it, is on Virgin Blue they make you pay $5.00 for use of headsets on their new 737-700 aircraft, and if I thought Ansett every stopped flying and some of those aircraft went and flew for Virgin Blue I would already have a headset.
Why fly non stop when you can connect

I've stolen a few safety cards, an Eastern Airlines fork, and bunches and bunches of soap bars.

Two things, though, I am very ashamed about. Once, while traveling on a Texas International Flight in 1979 From STL to DFW with two friends from college, we happened to notice that there were life vests attached to the underside of the seats and I took one.

Another time, I was with two different friends ( a guy and a girl) flying from ELP to DAL on a Southwest flight, but it was the 727 that Southwest leased from Braniff for a time. The girl had gotten cold during the flight, so the flight attendant brought her a blanket. It was one of those really nice colorful Braniff blankets - hot pink and orange plaid. Well, I just decided I had to have it, so towards the end of the flight I stuffed it into my carry on.

Well wouldn't you know it, the flight attendant came to collect the blanket. First we tried to ignore her, then we told her we gave it to another flight attendant, but she didn't buy that story for a minute. She gave us this LOOK and said "I'll be BACK in a few minutes to get it." BUSTED!!

As soon as she walked away I unzipped my carry on and had that blanket out and passed it to my friend who was on the aisle in about 1.5 seconds. I couldn't even LOOK at the flight attendant when she came back to get it, I was so embarrassed.

These days, I only take inflight magazines and swizzle sticks.

Last summer there was a fad in Norway among the youth, that an airplane seat belt was _the_ belt to wear while traipsing around Oslo. I'll just let you guess the rest...

(and NO, I didn't steal one!)

Why steal when you can ask? Ask F/A's and Pilots for something as a remeberance of your flight. If it is reasonable they will say please take it. Trust me it works. It helps to establish a raport with them in flight. You have something to give them? You can get a ton of stuff. Don't be gready! Clipper

Thu Oct 18, 2001 6:34 am

When ever I fly me and my wife Edna always go to every toilet on the airplane with our carry-on and stuff as much toilet papper as they have stocked. Those cubbie holes r where we find the most. Then when we get back home we have toilet papper to last us about 6months in our trailer.

Forks and sanitary towels? God you guys are lame...One star for this post.

btw, taking safety cards is a big no no. They are not restocked after each flight. So if god forbid an incident were to happen a passenger may not be properly informed. Pretty selfish if you ask me.

safety cards are not complimentary? ( I know its is being said tongue in cheek)- The fact it says on them "DO NOT REMOVE FROM AIRCRAFT" is the clue here
