I would like to know if now that Air France Concorde will run again between CDG-JFK, this flight will be like all the other AF France-US flights operate in code-sharing with DL, or it will be only with AF flight-code??
The point of codesharing is to feed pax from one flight to the next. The Concorde is meant to save time. All that time you just saved on the Concorde flight is going to be lost the moment you have a layover at JFK and then fly on DLs domestic system.
Therefore, I see no reason to codeshare. Besides, if they did just to attract JFK, CDG business its not like anybody is going to believe that Delta bought a Concorde and it may have some backlash affect.
How many miles earned with Skyteam flights will be needed to make a free round trip with Concorde ? Any ideas ?
Maybe it will be so high that you would need to fly the equivalent of 15 times a world trip to have a one-way ticket
Air France really has nothing to gain by code sharing with Delta. Air France owns the plane, everyone knows that BA and Air France are the only ones that fly these planes. They don't need Delta to help them sell tix on it. It's not like you'd suddenly call Delta and hear about this "Concorde" thing. People who want to fly the Concorde know what it is and where to find it.
