As a QF shareholder, I attended last week's company AGM and the following was disclosed.
- Schedule for A330 remains as previously stated with first delivery set down for 11/2002. Slide clauses exist in the contract for QF to bring delivery dates forward if production slots are available.
- Australian Airlines will fly a fleet of 763s. Both Margaret Jackson and Geoff Dixon were deliberately vague as to where these aircraft were to be sourced from but they did say their acquisition would be financed through existing capital sources. First Australian plane scheduled to fly 6/2002.
