Paying For Flight Training

Sun Oct 21, 2001 6:32 am

I'm a college student who is trying to get all of my ratings with ambitions of becoming an airline pilot. I never realized how expensive an endeaver it is. Does anybody know some ways in which I can off set this cost?

I did some calculations while doing my training and I realized,
it's actually cheaper to buy your own plane, train on it, and sell it in the end.
Maintain own separation with terrain!

there are some scholarshpis, but mostly for pilots in aeronautic universities. I would say loan is your only option.

I am also training to be a pilot. I have chosen to take two loans, simply they are the only possible option! I am studying my P.P.L theories at the moment and should start A.T.P.L work in March.
Good Luck it will be worth it in the end  Big thumbs up

The only way I know of where you do not have to pay is the Air Force.
