I'm almost offended!
To get into the norwegian ATC training program you have to complete 2 days of testing including PC-based stress/visualization skills/etc, interview with a controller and a airforce psykologist, english test (not hard
) and a practical "tower test"!
When that is done, you have to complete the medicals!
Now you are ready to start the training
, which takes anything from 18 to 24 moths, then MAYBYE you get your licence!
If you are fluent in norwegian or swedish, I will be happy to send you a copy of a typical exam at an ATC academy!
Anyway, it's not the written test that is most important:
It's how you perform in the SIM and on the OJT that really counts.......
Regards, Anders (2 weeks short of completing my education at the Swedish ATS Academy)
