This is expected. QF 31/32 (SYD-SIN-LHR and rtn) will not remain in its current state and will be replaced by a BA operated service, hence the 5 flights continuing onto SYD as stated in the Reuters post.

Is this a permanent move or is it a temporary measure to free up capacity for the QF domestic services?

Hopefully it is temporary,QF31/32 are the only QF flihjts to arrive/depart LHR in daylight so the loss of these flights means no more QF photography.:-(

Hello,

Any idea about when QF will discontinue its QF31/32 service, and when BA will upgrade its services to SIN please?

Thank you,

Best regards,

This was expected as BA did say they will cater for some of QF routes so QF can move capacity to domestic Australia. I guess this will be for a short while until new aircraft arive, DJ an AN get mroe capacity.

Well SQ has 21 flights a week.Looks like demand on the SIN-LHR route has mantained a very high level before or after 911 incident.

Best Regards

Interestingly, demand on the LHR-KUL route has also been maintained post-11/9. BA however will not be returning to KUL until the Malaysian Ringgit is unpegged from the US Dollar - which has affected yield on the route artificially.
