A damp day with low-clouds made that picture possible, it was taken last Monday when G-BOAF flew to JFK.
For more, go to www.concordesst.com/return to flight/latestnews/BA tests.
Nothing like a wet English morning to provide great photos of the 'Rocket'.

The weather was worse when BOAF flew for the first time in a year.Took off on 9R and was going before completing the turn to CPT.

From this vantage point doesn't look like a very clean burn - does it?  Smile

The reheats can be a bit smoky, that will clear up a bit once they are flying more often. There wasn't any reported problems in that area in the tech log.
You should see pics and footage of the prototypes of take-off, very smoky.

If the Pics had been taken 20 mins earlier the airport was completely fog bound and you would have seen nothing.

If they had been taken 20 mins later it was a lovely clear day!

Just gives you an idea the amount of lift those delta wings generate...not bad for a pre-CAD design!!
