This is an A300-600, not a 734.

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

I saw the 737 land on Tuesday night at LHR as I was going past on a bus. I assumed I had drunk too much at the time as I didn't know they had any.

Yes-that is correct
The 737 operates into LHR every Tuesday
As of 20 Nov it is showing as ops direct
Khartoum/Paris -a massive 7hr 20min in a 737
They are cutting out the Cairo stop
Wouldnt like to travel on that flight!

Cheers!

Airmale, the guy placed the wrong photo for this subject as the aircraft on the pictureone of Sudan's own A300's. As far I know there are no picture available yet of the 737.

Guys, I have told you all umpteen times that I just post whichever picture I like and not necessarily of the aircraft type being discussed, my Malaysia Airlines regional jet thread features the picture of a 777, so do you get it now Confused

I did this flight a couple fo years ago on their A320. We did Khartoum-CAI-LHR. We were down to do it on their Frnch-registered A310 (but I havd already flown donw on that one).

As I was in first class, it was bearable.

SD seems to chop and change its leasing arrangements (and therefore aircraft types). The pax figures from LHR to Khartoum look pretty poor - except during the Haj season, when they run the plane LHR-KHT-JED.
