With deliveries expected to start next year, NW hasn't made any formal announcement as to what carrier will be flying these in the red tailed scheme. Anyone at NW (Favre etc...) have any idea what might be going up there in MSP?
Here in MEM, Express I pretty much thinks they're a shoe in for the planes, but without formal announcements, I hate to jump the gun and jump on that band wagon. Especially when they can't even staff their current airplanes properly.
Here in XJ land, Foley said that XJ would wait until our pilot contract was settled (hopefully by next June, when it is up) before they submit a bid to operate the planes. With that, if they were to be awarded to XJ, he didn't expect to start operating them until Jan of 2003. This brings me back to my original question... whats up for 2002?
Seems kinda fishy that there is no discussion of this on the Bombardier website (for the plane in general) and no leaks from NW on what is going on.
Any ideas from big Daddy red tail?
