What Countries Can The Citizens Not Fly Out Of?

Sat Nov 03, 2001 7:59 am

What countries can the citizens of those countries not fly out of in any way (commercial or business, helicopter or plane)? Iran? Vietnam? Laos? North Korea? Iraq? Cuba? Any others? What countries is the freedom to fly to any other country restricted for the citizens (like a communist country to a communist country, but nothing else)? What countries are citizens of a certain country not allowed to go into (Americans can't go to Iraq, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Vietnam is restricted, Cuba people go there anyway, maybe some others)?

Americans can go to Vietnam. American, Delta, and Northwest all negotiated codeshare agreements this summer to Vietnam. Iranians are allowed to leave thier country to I believe.

I guess you could add Afghanistan to the list at least for now.

Vietnamese citizens can fly in and out of Vietnam with few restrictions (eg, provide documentation of your trip's purpose, etc)
