Continental's BusinessFirst

Can any CO employee (particularly a flight attendant) tell me the reason flight attendant's in BusinessFirst don't wear their white jackets that they used to switch to after take-off? It really distinguished you guys from the flight attendants working the Y section and made the experience all more ritzier.

Now, the flight attendants just wear their blue coats...no big deal, just thought I 'd ask.

Hey there, we don't wear the white serving jacket anymore because it got way too dirty and didnt look professional with stains all over it. We still wear the same style serving jacket only navy blue to hide the stains a little better. I personally perfered the look of the white ones too.

Thanks JacobCAL. I kind of thought stains would be the main reason you guys switched...only makes sense. Glad you weren't one of the flight attendants who got riffed. Keep up the good work!

It is amazing how much stuff can get on a serving jacket in one service. I have a couple in my closet that are horrible. The blue ones are so much better!

When I flew AA ORD-MAN in 1998 the F/As in Business Class wore nice looking grey uniforms. The Y class crews wore blue.
