Does Aerolineas Argentinas still operate the B 747? If yes, where do these birds fly to?

Will they retire anytime soon?

Hi,

Aerolineas still operates some 742s. I think that in this moment they are used to fly to MAD and MIA.

About the retirement, I don't have any confirmed info, but there are rumors about their convertion to freighters.

Cheers

SouthernCRJ is right, though AR is not yet flying to Miami, a 742 will be used on that flight. The flight to Madrid over the weekend was operated by a 742 as well.

They are talks about converting the 47s to cargo to start a cargo division of AR, which it's actually a good idea is you ask me.

I can't wait to see if AirPlus/Marsans group actually modernize the fleet.

They are operating right now only to Madrid, and will soon operate to Miami when that route re-starts (Mid-December probably). That is 4 747s right there. How many do they have. Isn't it seven?
