TWA No More As Of Dec. 2

We knew it was coming but today came the official word:

American Airlines annouced that the name TWA will no longer exist after December 2.

That the name known worldwide since 1930 will join the ranks of Eastern, Western, Pan Am (the old version) in aviation memory.

R.I.P.
