The PM flew back overnight subsonically so he could get a nights sleep and still be in London for 9am. Concorde would not have been able to depart till around 3am (UK) as it would not have been able to land at Heathrow too early because of the noise..it would simply wake up too many people!

I don't know when Alpha Foxtrot is due back.. I would expect it will wait on in Washington till they know that Alpha Echo is fine and has no problems in New York before re-positioning back to LHR/

Is it possible to have the callsign as "Blair Force One" with other passengers on the charter flight to IAD? Apparently, the news sources has said that there were other passengers instead of just Tony Blair and his "gang."

So would they have a charter flight number like Speedbird 8096 or something?

There were other passengers, but all asspociated with Tony Blair.

The UK political press pack travelled with him....and from what I understand payed Downing St for the Privillage.

Now concorde is one excellent replacement for the VC-10 and the Royal BAC-146.

Fair dues to you Mr Blair for giving BA some free publicity they really need.

If people want to see how bad BA is suffering, they should pay a visit to CWL... Is it 15 744's parked there.
You are 100 times more likely to catch a cold on a flight than an average person!

The outbound flight, carrying Blair, was the BA9093C.
Returning without him, it's the BA9094C, it goes from Andrews to JFK, then to LHR.
Blair chartered Concorde so he could spend the afternoon in Parliament, and still see Bush that afternoon/evening.
It's expected back at LHR at around 22.00 tonight.

CWL has a maintenance facility there so I would expect to see some BA 744s! However, it you're talking their 742s, it's a different matter as it seems they will be taking winter hibernation there!
