A New Sabena And Many Questions!

Thu Nov 08, 2001 7:05 pm

I have some important questions on the new Sabena that was created yesterday on the basis of DAT :

- Will Schreiner be part of the game or did they already leave Brussels ???

- Will they only operate RJ/BAe146 or also Airbus 320 ??

- Which network : regional or main market (FRA, AMS, MAD,...)

- When do they hope to restart the operations ??

- And finally : any idea of the new name ??

I just heard they would only opearte NYC, BOS & 3 other african destinations as long haul.

Thank you all for your informations !!!

Only airbus 319 will be operated together with the avro fleet.
According to my info Schreiner will no longer fly for Sabena and DAT will start operating on Friday only with the avro's.
Name I do not have a clue????

The name they're working with right now, is DAT Plus. Needless to say that may change when ops start.

At any rate, Flying Belgian, how much hope can we have of being a part of this new company? Or should we maybe hope not to be...?

So sad.

NYC, BOS and 3 African routes will already be more than enough I think.

Schreiner is gone. All aircraft went to Maastricht Airport and are stored there.

Great news to hear that we finally get rid of the Dash8 and ATR 72 of Schreiner Airways.

We won't miss many of their pilots except the Canadians  Wink/being sarcastic
