I'm flying SEA/TYO in December, and my company will only pay for coach fare. My choices are United, American, or Northwest, can anyone answer a few questions?
1) American's web site seems to indicate their international 777 coach is being updated to include powerports, personal TV's as well as 35" seat pitch. Can anyone verify if their Seattle/Tokyo flight has been updated? If I take this flight I have to leave on Tuesday, for some reason they don't have monday flights...
2) I might be able to swing a United full economy ticket on their 777 flight, and get into economy plus. Besides the 35" seat pitch, is there any other benefits like PTVs or power ports?
3) I have some domestic first class upgrade coupons on Northwest, is there any way to convince NW to accept them for international business class upgrades?
Any other thoughts, recommendations would be greatly appreciated...
