Is Allegiant Airlines to operate MD-80? I heard some rumours about.
Anybody knows more?

How is Allegiant Air surviving? Why would they need new planes when they only operate one daily flight to Vegas from Fresno and then back again. As far as I'm concerned, they need some new destinations, fast. Have you seen their website at http://www.AllegiantAir.com? You can't even book online. Allegiant Air needs help.

Allegiant Air is surviving on charter work. I also heard they had the contract to provide scheduled charters for Air Laughlin to the Laughlin/Bullhead City Casino area.

I hear that the FAT-LAS flights are seeing good loads. In fact, FAT seems to have returned to near normal numbers.

As far as MD-80s, I've heard the rumor too but I don't think it will be happening anytime soon.
