Is All US Airports Closed?

Tue Nov 13, 2001 1:22 am

i just seen on the BBC that all US airports are closed. I thought it was just the NYC area airports that were closed. Is the BBC correct?

Hi:

A similar information was reported in Chile by the most important TV channel. But for now only the NYC airport are closed.
I don't think that the US airlines and any airlines of the world are in condition to suffer another stop of their operations.

The FAA was considering closing all the airports in the United States at the initial time of the crash.

Only NYC area airports and NYC bridges & tunnels are closed and the United Nations is in lockdown. There IS a nationwide ground stop in effect for NY area departures.
