I was wondering,
Why does boeing have different door designs on its aircrafts?
707, 727, 737 and the 747 had the same door design, but starting from the 757, the designs started to differ, for instance the 767 has electrical doors that opens into the fuselage upward, while the 777's has airbus style doors that are pushed up wards.
On the other hand Airbus doors regardless the type of the aircraft or the size of the door and whether it was an Emergency exit or a regular door, the doors are almost the same except for the over wing hatches.
Any body can think of reasons?
