TS uses their entire fleet for Europe flights. You could be on the A332, A333, A310, 752, L15 or L10. They mix and match alot. LGW could be anything.
After the ETOPS restrictions, they rerouted their remaining A330's to fly more domestic and L-1011's more Europe. But even an ETOPS restricted A330 is more efficient to Europe than an L-1011 flight able to fly more direct. Indeed, the A330's are now back on transatlantic flights.
I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.
