Which Is Longer?

777-300 length is 242 feet 4 inches.

A340-600 length is 246 feet 11 inches.

A 346 is 75 metres, longer than a B 744.

but the 777 doesn't look disproportionate or ugly.

The 777-300 is longer than the 747... The A340-600 is longer than both.

If I am not mistaken, the A340-642 is the longest passenger airliner in the world. I saw it last Wednesday - it is awesome.

The A430-600 has to be one of the best looking planes around.

Craigy: Thanx for the pics!! Absolutely mega-cool, wow, saw it in FRA one or two weeks ago, though only from a distance. What an aircraft! No more jokes about the only 5-APU-aircraft in the world, I guess.
