No, last year we used TAP via LIS. The flight to LIS was great, the service on their A340 to LAD was very bad, and we weren't impressed, as we were flying Navigator class with my family.
The flights were on-time, but it was the cabin service that was extremely bad-very rude flight attendants that would only reply to us in Portuguese.
I will now fly with South African via JNB, and then back to the UK with AF via CDG (from LAD.)
According to BA's November edition of High Life
, BA provide a service from London to Luanda. Quite obviously this isn't the case, so I am wondering why they have a spoke on their route map from London to Luanda.
(It would be fantastic if they did fly there, nonstop reliable service London-Luanda would be great!)
Thanks so much for the timetable & aircraft information!
I beleive the 'Stinson' referred to above is a tri-motor aircraft, it is actually featured in an article in this month's Airways
magazine, where it was apparently used by Boston-Maine Airways in the USA in the 30's (I think....)
Thanks to all of you for the information.
Angola has some of the best beaches around.....not many people and NO tourists (apart from my family!)
Obrigado & Regards
