Smoking Banned On Aeroflot Flights

As of 15th of November all flights less than 5 hours long
are non-smoking on Aeroflot.As of 30th of March 2002
ALL 100 daily flights of the russian flagcarrier become
non-smoking.Bring your comments on this topic.Thanks

Have you ever thought about that?Aeroflot was the only airline really fighting for its "smoking" rights.Now
everything changed.It tries to flollow the common trends in the modern aviation world to become a solid part of it.Congratulations.hej

Wonder what the pilots think bout it. Heared some are still smoking, same goes for China Airlines pilots....

Smoking is never good.

Come on, pilots do what they want. They all smoke, even on airlines which have been smoke free for years.

The pilots can shut the cockpit door and smoke there!

We discussed this in length a year ago, when Aeroflot decided to allow smoking on flights to US. It was interesting discussion.

Anyways, this is smart move. This will calculate into some savings, if they don't need to recycle the air in cabin as often.

I hope that pilots and crew will eventually obide the rules, but we'll have to wait and see.
