Now that DAT has resumed flying on some of the former Sabena routes it struck me that there has been no contender on the route connecting the two seats of the European Parliament (and in fact, many other European institutions) in Brussels (BRU) and Strasbourg (SXB).
My initial guess would have been that Air France might step in and improve the poor traffic relations between SXB and BRU.
From my observations as a (temporarily former) weekly commuter between the two airports, I would have guessed that it was a profitable line which was also asking for some competition.
Does anybody know more about any future plans, particularly as the railway connections are cumbersome, rare and in their speed rather 18th (sic!) century-like?
